Patrick is a qualified actuary with over 15 years of experience across the general insurance and broader financial services sectors. Having started out in investment banking with Morgan Stanley, Patrick began his actuarial career as a consultant with EY before subsequently working as an in-house actuary with Allianz and Lloyd’s of London syndicates Catlin and later Neon where he was Head of Reserving.

Patrick has been involved in the independent actuarial consulting space since 2012 working on both UK and international engagements. His clients have included global insurance companies and brokers as well as government, Lloyd’s syndicate, specialty insurer and private equity clients. Projects have ranged from regulatory advisory (Solvency II & IFRS 17), pricing model build and M&A analytical support to the design and implementation of large-scale transformation projects.

He has a first class degree in Economics from University College London, an MPhil degree in Economics from Oxford University and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA).

Anastasia Chaaya

Anastasia has been a Director of Sharpe Intuition Ltd since June 2018. Her focus is on Sharpe Intuition’s project management, knowledge & resource support service offerings. She also provides bespoke research and data analytics support. Prior to joining Sharpe Intuition Anastasia worked as a Political Risk & Credit broker at Aon.

Anastasia has a degree in Law LLB (Hons) from City, University of London and the Chartered Insurance Institute’s Certificate in Insurance (Cert CII). She is fluent in both German and Russian.
